Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PetroTrack, a fuel-station management application available on the web and as a mobile app. By creating an account or using PetroTrack, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of the fuel-station business you register. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Accounts and roles

When you sign up you create an organisation and an administrator account. Administrators may invite managers and staff, who receive their own credentials. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for the actions of users you invite.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

• New organisations receive a 14-day free trial.
• After the trial, continued use requires an active paid subscription, billed monthly through Paystack.
• Current plans start at ₦50,000/month. Prices may change with notice.
• You may cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
• If a subscription lapses or the trial ends without payment, access to features is restricted until payment is made.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to violate any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other organisations' data.
• Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
• Enter false data to deceive others or misrepresent reconciliation records.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the operational data you enter (stations, readings, sales, expenses). You grant us the limited right to process and store it to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI meter reading

PetroTrack uses an automated AI service to read meter digits from photos. AI readings are provided as a convenience and may contain errors. You are responsible for confirming or correcting readings before saving. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on an unverified automated reading.

7. Service availability

We work to keep PetroTrack available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app requires an internet connection. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

PetroTrack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using PetroTrack and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
